Job Summary
Lead Civil Engineer Project Manager role focusing on private land development and municipal infrastructure projects. Manage design and delivery, coordinate with engineers, planners, landscape architects, and CAD technicians, oversee feasibility studies, zoning/regulatory research, and public meetings. Mentorship of junior staff, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget while maintaining high standards of technical excellence. Requires Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and NJ PE licensure, 5+ years of civil/site design experience, AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New Jersey
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil/site design for private development and/or municipal projects
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
- Familiarity with local, county, and state permitting processes and public agency coordination
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience presenting at public meetings or board hearings (preferred)
- Additional certifications such as CME, CFM, or PP (preferred)
