Job Summary
Lead project planning, engineering design, and construction document preparation for civil site development projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, stormwater systems, utilities, roads, and parking lots. Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, and final construction plans while coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, municipalities, and regulatory agencies. Work directly with the Principal Engineer on commercial, residential, municipal, and public infrastructure projects, and mentor junior engineers to deliver high-quality results from concept through construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- 4+ years of civil site development experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of site planning
- Strong understanding of grading
- Strong understanding of drainage
- Strong understanding of utilities
- Strong understanding of land development
- Self-directed
- Accountable
- Able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Four 9-hour days Monday through Thursday
- 4-hour day on Friday
