Job Summary
Conduct site design, stormwater management, grading, drainage, and utility design for private and public-sector clients. Perform engineering calculations, data research, and analysis while preparing contract documents in AutoCAD. Coordinate activities with internal and external disciplines, participate in design meetings, and research materials for permit applications. Manage traffic analysis, erosion control, and water treatment projects. Requires B.S. in Civil Engineering, Florida EIT or PE, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of fundamental engineering processes, construction methods and permitting
- Collaboration with owners and multi-disciplinary teams to produce technically complex design plans, studies and reports
- Site Design, Stormwater Management, Grading and Drainage, Erosion and Sediment Control, Water Treatment, Traffic Analysis, and Utility Design
- Perform engineering calculations, data research and analysis
- Prepare contract documents utilizing AutoCAD
- Coordinate activities with other disciplines, internally and externally
- Participate and contribute to design and production meetings
- Research, evaluate, compile and prepare material for permit applications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- EIT or PE in Florida
- Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D programs
- Pro-active, enthusiastic, self-starter with a good attitude who pays attention to details and is willing to work in a supportive, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels
