Job Summary
Perform all facets of civil site design including site layout, land grading, stormwater management, roadway and utility infrastructure, and sediment and erosion control. Create CAD drawings, layouts, and production plans per local codes and standards, while preparing detailed stormwater management reports with computations for ESDv, drainage area delineation, and runoff. Coordinate with clients, consultants, and regulatory agency reviewers throughout project duration, and assist with permit processing and submittals with local and state agencies. This role supports a variety of projects in the commercial, residential, and institutional sectors primarily located in Maryland.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in civil engineering
- 2-10 years of land development design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Desired Qualifications
- Civil experience in Maryland areas
- Proficiency in HydroCAD
- Proficiency in TR-55
- Proficiency in Maryland Stormwater Management Design and computation
- Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT)
