Job Summary
Civil Engineer, PE responsible for managing the design and engineering of precast concrete projects, interfacing with sales, estimating, project management, and operations, and with customers (GCs and A/E). Responsible for generating designs and drawings from architectural/structural construction documents, mentoring junior staff, coordinating fabrication/erector details, performing field observations (including writing Observation Reports) and providing field repairs tracking. May lead 2–4 designers and 1–2 entry-level engineers on a project-by-project basis; will check the work of EIT/Associate engineers and provide sales support as assigned by Engineering Manager.
Required Qualifications
- PE license
- Civil Engineering Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (structural focus preferred)
- Minimum 4 years related experience in civil/construction; precast/concrete experience highly desirable
