Civil Engineer – Municipal Projects

Job Summary
Assist in municipal engineering projects including road rehabilitation, stormwater management, subdivisions, land development, and utility design; support capital improvement projects for public sector clients under guidance of senior staff; help develop project work plans, budgets, and construction cost estimates; prepare and review project plans, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documentation; coordinate with senior engineers on technical developments, scheduling, and resolving design or construction issues; attend municipal planning, zoning, and land-use board meetings with senior team members; communicate project updates to clients and stakeholders as directed; collaborate with and learn from junior and senior engineers to develop technical and professional skills; support business development efforts and proposals
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering; EIT required
- 2–5 years of experience in municipal infrastructure, land development, or site development projects
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; GIS and Hydroflow experience a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow professionally
