Job Summary
Civil Engineer to lead and oversee US Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District civil and MILCON projects. Responsibilities include design, inspection, QA/QC oversight, and construction-management leadership across multiple concurrent projects; engage with customers and stakeholders; coordinate requirements, develop POR, prepare government cost estimates, schedules, and scopes of work; review design and construction drawings; perform value engineering and lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and client satisfaction. Requires 5+ years in federal/civil programs, PE license or ability to obtain, proficiency with AutoCAD/Inventor/Maya, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture (or commensurate experience). U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency required for client security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture preferred, or commensurate experience
- 5+ years’ experience in federal or civil architecture, engineering, or construction programs
- Professional Engineer’s License, or ability to obtain PE
- Proficiency in drafting and modeling applications such as Autodesk Inventor, Maya, and AutoCAD
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills and Project management skills
- US citizens or lawful permanent residents per client security requirements
