Job Summary
Lead designs for site grading, stormwater management, and industrial infrastructure including piping, pavement, and railroad spurs. Prepare engineering contract documents, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Gather field data via surveying, 3D scanning, and ground penetrating radar while estimating material take-offs and construction budgets. Work independently with multi-discipline teams to solve problems for industrial and manufacturing clients. Requires a PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months, 4–10 years of experience, and up to 20% travel. Salaried with overtime eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a four-year ABET-accredited college or university
- Four (4) to ten (10) years of related civil engineering experience
- PE Required or ability to obtain within 12 months of start date
- Must be able to travel up to 20% local/daytime travel; occasional overnight travel may be required
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in engineering consulting and/or working at manufacturing facilities preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Knowledge of topographic surveying and/or 3D laser scanning preferred
- Ability to self-manage assignments for multiple projects concurrently
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
