Job Summary
Lead roadway design projects through all phases, coordinating with public works standards and codes, preparing conceptual and detailed plans, specifications, and estimates; perform engineering analyses, assess design changes, and ensure conformance to codes and local/state/federal regulations; collaborate across office and field environments on hybrid schedule; utilize MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads Designer to develop drafting plans and technical documents; review project deliverables, maintain project files, and support project design concepts and criteria; require PE licensure (Arizona) or eligibility with ability to register within six months, and valid Arizona driver’s license; responsibilities include coordinating phases, preparing analytical reports, and ensuring project quality, cost, and schedule alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of professional civil engineering work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) by the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, or by the technical board of another state, with the ability to obtain Arizona registration within six months of employment
- Valid Arizona driver's license by the time of hire
