Job Summary
Civil Engineer Associate (EIT) to join the Northwest Austin team, contributing to hydrologic/hydraulic modeling for detention basins, drainage networks, and water quality features using HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS; design construction documents and exhibits to public-sector standards; leverage Civil 3D, MicroStation, and ArcMap for high-fidelity models and spatial analyses; perform field site visits; author technical reports and permitting packages aligned with City of Austin regulations; collaborate across disciplines to ensure flood mitigation and water quality objectives; actively pursue PE licensure and assume increasing project-management responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Active Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- 2–5 years of professional experience in civil engineering, specifically focused on stormwater, drainage, or water quality
- Proven experience with HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS; competency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
