Job Summary
Design project portions using Civil 3D and modeling software, complete engineering calculations and specifications, and prepare plan sets and objective summary reports. Perform field observation, inspection, and data collection duties as directed, while assisting in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates. Communicate with client staff and internal design teams to support zoning entitlements, site plan approvals, and construction administration for land development projects ranging from multi-family to public infrastructure. Work within a team of two to three design engineers and a project manager to deliver client visions, with a requirement for a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering and EIT certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must be legally eligible to work in the Unites States without sponsorship now and in the future
- A bachelor or master's degree in civil engineering or closely related field is required
- EIT required
Desired Qualifications
- Ideal candidates would have between 2-8 years of professional experience in Land Development civil engineering, but entry level candidates will be considered
- Experience with preparation of civil engineering site plans including site layout, utilities, grading & drainage, erosion control, and stormwater management is a plus
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
