Job Summary
Civil Engineer, Land Development for Starlink at SpaceX. Responsible for developing drawings and design documentation for industrial, manufacturing, and commercial land development; performing calculations for grading, drainage, stormwater facilities, water distribution, and underground utilities; coordinating permits with local/state/federal agencies; managing civil aspects of construction in the field; collaborating with contractors, designers, vendors, and internal clients to define requirements, schedules, and cost estimates; resolving design and construction conflicts in real time. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field and 1+ years of civil engineering design/drafting experience. Preferences include 4+ years of experience, PE/EIT license, and proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD Civil3D, StormCAD, HEC-RAS/HEC-HMS, WaterCAD, and PCSWMM.ITAR-compliance and onsite work at Bastrop, TX facility with occasional travel are noted. The role emphasizes hands-on site work, coordination, quality control, and cross-discipline collaboration to deliver heavy civil and utility components for Starlink infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or other engineering discipline
