Job Summary
Civil Engineer EIT position in Jacksonville seeking a candidate to support project teams by leading design aspects across various land development projects. Responsibilities include partnering with project teams and clients to prepare project documents and proposals; drafting, reviewing, and finalizing site plans, engineering reports, cost estimates, project schedules, permit applications, and due diligence reports; editing plans based on client and agency feedback; researching local/state zoning requirements; conducting site visits and field assignments; analyzing site survey data; utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software; and communicating with clients, municipalities, and agencies under the Project Manager's direction. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 2-4 years of experience with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Grading Design, Technical Writing, 3-D Modeling, MS Office, and Plan Interpretation; strong written/verbal communication; and good workload management. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Two to four (2-4) years of experience in civil engineering, with experience leading design aspects of development projects preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Grading Design, Technical Writing, 3-D Modeling, MS Office, and Plan Interpretation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent workload management skills
