Civil Engineer - Land Development

Job Summary
Lead design of site grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility systems for complex developments, including themed attraction projects. Prepare calculations, construction plans, and technical reports supporting permitting and delivery. Closely collaborate with architecture, design and interdisciplinary engineering (AD&E) firms to develop integrated, experience-driven solutions. Manage multiple projects, schedules, and deliverables with accountability for quality and deadlines. Perform QA/QC reviews and resolve design and field challenges, including RFIs and site coordination. Participate in site visits to ensure designs are effectively implemented in the field. Mentor junior staff and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team. Support proposals and client relationships, including pursuits involving theme park and destination projects.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 8+ years of experience in civil engineering
- Lead design experience for site grading, drainage, stormwater and utilities
- Ability to prepare calculations, construction plans, and technical reports for permitting and delivery
- Experience coordinating with AD&E teams and multidisciplinary groups
- Strong QA/QC review capability and RFIs resolution
- Mentorship of junior staff and team leadership
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and deliverables
Desired Qualifications
