Job Summary
Civil Engineer, Land Development at Egis Canada (Edmonton, AB) to lead planning, design, and land development projects from concept through construction, including subdivisions, site plans, mixed-use developments, grading, stormwater, sanitary and water servicing, roadway and utility coordination, and environmental considerations. You will contribute to multidisciplinary teams, provide technical authority in stormwater and utility design, support client relationships with developers and municipalities, prepare and review submissions for approvals, assist with project financials and contract administration, participate in construction-phase activities, and support business development and client outreach. The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, Alberta PE license, 5+ years in land development, AutoCAD/Civil3D proficiency, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license; bilingual French is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Alberta (APEGA)
- Design skills with AutoCAD/Civil3D
- Excellent oral and written communication in English
- French bilingual is an asset
- 5+ years of experience in land development design
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving
- Valid driver's license and access to vehicle
