Job Summary
Civil Engineer – Land Development role focusing on grading, drainage, stormwater management, sanitary sewer, water distribution, and site circulation. Produce high-quality Civil 3D models, construction documents, and permit-ready plan sets; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive project delivery; analyze surveys and technical data to inform constructible designs; support permitting through documentation and agency coordination; participate in site evaluations and construction-phase support; mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal capability development; take increasing ownership toward leadership responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
- 3–8 years of experience in civil/site and land development engineering
- Proficiency in Civil 3D (required)
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and site development design principles
- Ability to interpret codes, surveys, reports, and construction documentation
- Experience with permitting processes and coordination workflows
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability and willingness to mentor junior staff
- U.S. work authorization required (no sponsorship available)
Desired Qualifications
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or active progression toward licensure
- Experience with municipal/public, education, or commercial/industrial projects
- Civil 3D proficiency
- Mentoring junior engineers
