Job Summary
The Civil Engineer IV serves as a senior technical contributor and task-level project lead for municipal waterline and sanitary sewer infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include leading the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water distribution and sanitary sewer projects, managing project scope, schedule, and budget, preparing and reviewing project plans and specifications, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role requires independent technical decision-making and coordination with various stakeholders. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in an accredited engineering program, have a PE license, and 5-8 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 5–8 years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience leading pipeline projects or major design tasks
- Experience working directly with municipal clients and internal project managers
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with engineering design software and tools used for pipeline design and hydraulic analysis
- Working knowledge of pipeline-related permitting and regulatory requirements applicable to municipal infrastructure in Oklahoma
