Civil Engineer Intern (Tamheer)

Job Summary
Conduct site inspections, document field observations, and measure project progress with precision. Assist in preparing technical drawings, blueprints, and design documents using industry-standard software while supporting senior engineers in analyzing project requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Saudi building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Participate in creating project documentation, reports, and technical specifications, and contribute to organizing project meetings and site visits. Maintain organized records and databases related to project information. This internship program offers practical experience in civil engineering design, planning, and execution within Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a civil engineering program or equivalent technical field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Strong understanding of technical drawing interpretation and blueprint reading
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Basic knowledge of construction processes and civil engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with structural principles and building design concepts
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
- Preferred: Knowledge of Saudi Arabian building codes and construction standards
- Preferred: Previous site visit or field experience in construction or engineering projects
