Job Summary
Civil Engineer on Olsson's Industrial Environmental team delivering planning and design across civil/environmental engineering disciplines. The project engineer supervises engineering staff, coordinates with other Olsson teams and clients, performs design calculations, develops project scopes and schedules, manages budgets, and prepares technical reports and memos. Responsibilities include coordinating with staff, directing design tasks, communicating findings to clients and internal teams, serving as project manager, and assisting with marketing/proposals. Requires a PE license and ABET-accredited degree; proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD; strong communication and teamwork skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- Must be a registered Professional Engineer
- Proficiency with engineering tools, software, and methodologies
- Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- 5 or more years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience, specifically with civil or environmental design including solid waste facilities, environmental remediation, and mining reclamation
