Job Summary
Support licensed project engineers on the design of civil site projects by drafting site plans, preparing engineering calculations, and researching jurisdictional requirements using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam. Plan layouts for small scale projects, coordinate deliverables across departments, and produce plans, specifications, and technical memorandums for site systems and water and wastewater design. Assist with construction administration tasks including onsite field observation while contributing accurate construction documents under the guidance of a senior engineer.
Required Qualifications
- ABET accredited degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 1 year of related job experience within the US
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to apply engineering concepts to real world applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing
- Ability to perform basic engineering calculations
- Solid understanding of civil engineering fundamentals
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
