Job Summary
Develop site documents, grading, stormwater management, and utilities through collaboration with architects, developers, and consultants. Solve design problems, perform CAD drafting, and analyze site constraints using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Lead site design meetings, manage preconstruction schedules, and assist in the entitlement process with cities and review agencies. Ment Intern staff and execute annual goal-setting and company vision initiatives. Requires a PE license, 6+ years of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Base pay $97,200–$121,500 annually with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- At least 6 years of relevant professional work experience
- Excellent knowledge of site design and other design disciplines
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred, or related field
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam (EIT) in the state of employment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is expected
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse team
- Strong mathematical background and understanding or engineering principles (hydrology, grading, etc.)
- Strong interest in site development
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong knowledge of Autodesk products (Navisworks, Infraworks) and stormwater modeling software (HydroCAD) preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
