Job Summary
Civil Engineer II to support planning, design, and delivery of BRT and LRT projects nationally, with responsibilities including roadway design, drainage design, maintenance of traffic, station design, civil/site grading, and transit signal priority systems; coordinate with transit agencies, municipalities, and stakeholders; mentor entry engineers; located in the Austin, TX, Houston, TX, or New Orleans, LA offices with a hybrid work arrangement; requires BA/BS in Civil Engineering and 2 years of relevant experience; proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation; experience with transit infrastructure design (LRT/BRT/commuter rail); no U.S. sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Experience with transit infrastructure design, including LRT, BRT, and commuter rail
- Familiarity with transit agencies and regional transportation priorities
- Experience in engineering project delivery, including design and construction phases
- Strong understanding of engineering standards, permitting, and regulatory processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
