Job Summary
Complete various civil engineering tasks assigned by a Project Engineer, Manager, or Land Surveyor under direct supervision. Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to prepare surveys, site plans, grading plans, utility plans, construction layouts, and staking. Design components of site civil, municipal, and/or transportation projects and prepare reports and permits for these projects. Perform construction observation or field services as requested and communicate with project teams across all offices. Assist in any other assigned tasks to support the Lynch & Associates team. Candidates must be willing to provide overtime to meet project deadlines and maintain insurability to operate a company or personal vehicle. This entry-level role supports the firm's multi-disciplinary consulting business in civil engineering, surveying, and municipal services.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
- Have the ability to provide overtime to meet project deadlines
- Maintain insurability under the Lynch & Associates Automotive policy to operate a company or personal vehicle to conduct business
Desired Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience
- BS in Civil Engineering or related field of study
- Passed FE exam or EIT registration
