Job Summary
Design and coordinate multidiscipline projects including site feasibility studies, regulatory approvals, and full permitting. Develop site layouts covering grading, storm drainage, roadway design, and water/sewer infrastructure while applying NYSDEC stormwater management requirements. Perform project administration by writing reports, tracking costs, and preparing engineer's opinions for public bids. Coordinate tasks across engineering and architectural departments and communicate directly with clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with 5+ years of experience and PE preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related discipline
- 5+ years of experience
- Site development/municipal engineering project design experience
- Thorough understanding of the entitlement processes on Long Island
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices of related technical areas
- Familiar with the design of public infrastructure/public bidding process
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills, Autoturn, Excel, and Photoshop
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
