Job Summary
Civil Engineer to support USACE Mobile District on civil and military infrastructure and design-build projects. Lead design, inspection, QA/QC oversight and construction management across the full project lifecycle; coordinate with customers; develop POR; provide team leadership; ensure technical and service excellence; review designs and drawings; prepare cost estimates, scopes of work, and project schedules; manage submittals and RFIs; involve field and office coordination on multiple concurrent projects; requires PE eligibility or licensure and federal project experience. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture preferred or commensurate experience
- 5+ years’ experience in federal or civil architecture, engineering, or construction programs
- Professional Engineer’s License, or ability to obtain PE
- Proficiency in drafting and modeling applications such as Autodesk Inventor, Maya, and AutoCAD
- Experience with US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE); NAVFAC; AFCEC
- Strong mathematical, analytical and project management skills
- Ability to read drawings
- Federal experience a plus
- Security requirements for client delivery
