Civil Engineer

Job Summary
Draft engineering standards, specifications, and contract documents while creating technical drawings and cost estimates for municipal water and wastewater projects. Conduct inspections to evaluate the integrity of existing installations and recommend remedial works, then analyze data and support feasibility testing for engineering solutions. Manage projects from planning through construction support, including RFIs and shop drawing reviews, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with regulators and stakeholders. Work three days a week in the Pittsburgh office with a hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 4–8 years of water/wastewater infrastructure experience including linear water and sanitary sewer design for municipal clients
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; or have the ability to obtain it
- Trenchless or limited-access construction experience is a plus
- Familiarity with utility coordination, easements, and right-of-way constraints
