Civil Engineer

Job Summary
This Civil Engineer position involves managing projects from development to completion in the steelmaking industry, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and providing engineering support. Responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, writing bid specifications, soliciting contracts, estimating budgets and schedules, and overseeing environmental sampling and inspections. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5-7 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment are required, along with previous environmental experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in either Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a commensurate level of related experience and education
- 5-7 years’ experience in a heavy industrial environment
- Previous environmental experience is required
- Valid driver’s license

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization
- Strong work ethic
