Job Summary
The Civil Engineer will perform civil engineering work for both private and public sectors, preparing plans, conducting design under supervision, and utilizing software applications. Responsibilities include developing cost estimates, attending client meetings, and ensuring project deliverables meet budget and schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in the design of civil engineering projects
- Civil design experience in roadway, grading, drainage, utility, and site development projects
- Knowledge of engineering and data analysis techniques and theories
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, with the ability to learn updated software
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and similar engineering software
Desired Qualifications
- E.I.T. certificate or ability to obtain within one (1) year of being hired
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas or New Mexico within two (2) years of being hired
