Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive civil design work for local Queensland projects, coordinating proposals and managing resources for small to medium initiatives. Contribute to detailed design plans by liaising with drafters and internal teams to produce deliverables, technical reports, and cost estimates. Assume responsibility for project planning and business development while supporting team well-being and participating in regular workshops. This role offers flexible working arrangements including remote options and full-time or part-time hours, with a competitive remuneration package in Brisbane CBD.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment servicing local authorities/councils across QLD
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency in 12D
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in QGIS
- A thorough understanding of general civil engineering and design principles pertaining to roads
- A thorough understanding of general civil engineering and design principles pertaining to earthworks
- A thorough understanding of general civil engineering and design principles pertaining to drainage
- A thorough understanding of general civil engineering and design principles pertaining to water management design
- A thorough understanding of general civil engineering and design principles pertaining to general civil works
- Demonstrated experience supporting local and state government projects
- Demonstrated project management and delivery experience for small to medium projects across full life cycle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
- Full-time, part-time or job-share basis
