Job Summary
Lead site civil design and permitting efforts for municipal and industrial facilities, including water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and utility transmission projects. Manage the planning, design, and permitting process to ensure compliance with contracts, codes, and Arcadis quality standards. Provide technical expertise on multi-disciplinary projects as a design leader, QA/QC reviewer, or advisor, while navigating local and state permitting requirements. Supervise junior engineers and technical staff, mentoring team members and facilitating group meetings. Work directly with clients to determine needs, establish project goals, and deliver solutions within budget and schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years or more of experience in site civil projects
- BS degree in Civil Engineering or related
- PE License
- Some local travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the land development projects
- proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
- Client facing experience and ability to develop contacts and relationships
- Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several assignments
