Job Summary
Construction Project Engineer to manage roadway/bridge projects for state, county, and local clients, overseeing construction administration and inspection services, coordinating with technicians and inspectors, reviewing blueprints and plans, and assisting with proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and budgets. Responsibilities include field and office work across central Ohio (≈60-minute travel radius), travel to project sites for inspections (concrete, soil, compaction, testing), and ensuring contractor compliance with state specifications. Requires collaboration with clients and a cross-functional team, with emphasis on delivering quality engineering services and ensuring project performance. PE licensure is required and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- PE licensure required
- 2+ years of construction material inspection and testing experience is a plus
- 5+ years of applicable experience preferred
- valid driver license and acceptable driving record
