Job Summary
Civil Engineer responsible for stormwater management, detention design, hydraulics and hydrology modeling, storm sewer design, roadway and intersection design, corridor development, and report preparation. Role requires proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, ability to manage multiple long‐term and immediate tasks, strong project/time management skills, and the ability to work both independently and within teams. Experience with federally funded projects and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (P.E. preferred but not required) are key. Responsibilities also include site geometry, underground utilities layout, construction specifications & details, budget and schedule management, and leading meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- At least 4-8 years of civil engineering experience
- P.E. preferred but not required for candidate consideration
- Experience working with federally funded projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Ability to lead meetings
- Ability to put a plan set together with limited supervision
