Job Summary
Civil Site/Land Development Engineer needed to design, permit, and observe land development projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sites. Responsibilities include collaborating with team members to design and observe construction, building strong team relationships for efficient delivery, utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D for land development design, performing design calculations (storm drainage sizing, water distribution modeling, BMPs, sanitary sewer, erosion control), conducting preliminary evaluations (quantity take-offs and probable construction costs), site visits with field reports, and coordinating field testing (water pressure, gravity sewer low-pressure, manhole vacuum testing). Requires a BSCE/BSCEET, EI/EIT certification (PE preferred), 2+ years of design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D; strong communication and a drive to learn in a fast-paced design-team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BSCE or BSCEET)
- EI/EIT certification is required
- PE certification preferred
- 2+ years of qualifying civil engineering design experience
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong desire to continue learning and work in a fast-paced design team environment
