Job Summary
Assist Design Engineer and Design Team in designing runways, taxiways, aprons, and other airfield facilities. Perform grading, paving, drainage and related civil engineering tasks. Provide assistance with planning documents and construction cost estimates, and perform computer aided design. Prepare technical reports, calculations, project drawings, details & specifications; review construction shop drawings and conduct construction site visits. Grow responsibilities over time. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 0-4 years of experience, with growing proficiency in AutoCAD. Must have strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, and be able to work independently or in small groups, prioritizing multiple projects.”,
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
- 0-4 years of experience with good background in civil engineering principles
- Growing proficiency with AutoCAD
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Produce organized, accurate and professional work products
- Ability to work independently and in small groups
