Job Summary
Civil Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to work on site development or municipal/transportation projects. Responsible for designing site plans, grading and drainage, storm water management, water and sanitary sewer utility plans, ADA accessibility, and coordinating with a multi-discipline design team. Duties include preparing conceptual and construction plans, visiting construction sites, and providing technical support during design and construction. Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office with strong communication and time-management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-accredited program
- Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required
- Working towards registration as a Civil Professional Engineer (PE) or already licensed
- Three to six years of professional engineering experience with design, permitting, and construction related assistance in site development or municipal/transportation projects
- Experience with site engineering including conceptual plans, construction plans, and coordination with multi-discipline teams
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
- Effective technical writing and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
