Job Summary
Civil Engineer to oversee and manage the engineering and construction of civil projects in water mains/meters, stormwater, sanitary sewers, traffic, and related areas. Responsibilities include reviewing design-build plans for RFP compliance, coordinating engineering consultants, reviewing SOQs and bids, negotiating change orders, managing contracts and invoices, and ensuring compliance with professional services agreements. Candidates should have a Florida PE license, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (or closely related field), and four years of relevant experience, with emphasis on water/wastewater/stormwater, roadway/bridge design, and project coordination across multiple projects. Some travel for inspections and project management in the assigned area is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Florida Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
- four (4) years of practical engineering experience, including two (2) years of civil engineering experience
