Job Summary
Civil Engineer / Site Foreman needed to oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, with potential deployment to other project locations. Must read and implement construction drawings, manage site crews and subcontractors, and supervise roadworks, earthworks, asphalt laying, and concrete works with minimal supervision. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus. Responsibilities include ensuring proper sequencing, quality, safety, reporting daily progress, coordinating with procurement/logistics, and aligning work with drawings, specifications, and standards. Requires 12+ years of practical site experience in civil construction, ability to supervise site works with minimal supervision, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work across Tanzania when required.
