Job Summary
Perform detailed takeoffs for water and sewer projects, including pipe lengths, fittings, manholes, valves, and trench excavation volumes. Analyze plans, specifications, and site conditions to assist in developing plans for cost estimates across municipal, commercial, industrial, and private sector work. Utilize takeoff software and MS Excel for calculations and data management. Requires a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or EIT certification, with 0-2 years of experience. Compensation ranges from $65k to $90k DOE. Primarily remote after training, with health insurance and 401K match.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer bachelor's degree in civil engineering if no experience
- 0-2 years of experience (internship experience or related experience)
- Take off Software efficient
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel for calculations and data management
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 6-12 months
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering plans
