Job Summary
Assist in the delivery of civil engineering designs for building and infrastructure projects, including site development, drainage, pavements, and access design. Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior team members. Contribute to the coordination of civil design outputs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines while supporting project teams in identifying and resolving design challenges. Apply relevant standards, guidelines, and engineering principles to produce quality outcomes. Participate in project meetings and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to achieve project delivery, quality, and safety objectives. This role offers structured learning, mentoring from experienced engineers, and exposure to a diverse portfolio of iconic projects across health, education, defence, and commercial sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 2-5 years' experience in civil engineering
- Exposure to civil design for buildings, land development, precincts or infrastructure projects
- Experience using civil engineering software such as Civil 3D, 12D, AutoCAD or similar
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally within a consulting environment
- Defence or defence-adjacent project experience
- Progressing towards Chartered status
