Job Summary
Assist in the delivery of civil engineering designs for building and infrastructure projects, including site development, drainage, pavements, and access design. Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior team members. Contribute to the coordination of civil design outputs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines while supporting project teams in identifying and resolving design challenges. Apply relevant standards and engineering principles to produce quality outcomes, participate in project meetings, and collaborate with stakeholders. Contribute to achieving project delivery, quality, and safety objectives while developing technical skills through mentoring and on-the-job learning.
Required Qualifications
- Approximately 2-5 years' experience in civil engineering
- Exposure to civil design for buildings, land development, precincts or infrastructure projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using civil engineering software such as Civil 3D, 12D, AutoCAD or similar
- Defence or defence-adjacent project experience
- Progressing towards Chartered status
