Civil Engineer and Project Manager

Job Summary

Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation through final delivery, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion. Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and municipal officials to develop site plans, grading plans, stormwater management plans, and resource protection plans. Conduct hydrologic assessments, review local zoning and permitting requirements, and prepare applications for local approvals with health departments and planning boards. Present plans at public hearings and develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical specifications. Perform engineering design, analysis, and review of technical documents and drawings while monitoring project progress and identifying risks. Prepare and present project status reports, proposals, and documentation to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Civil Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in project engineering and/or project management
  • Proficiency in project management tools and engineering software
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, drainage and hydrologic analysis, design processes, and construction practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • PE license
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment

Desired Qualifications

  • PLS license or SIT certification a plus
