Job Summary
Civil Engineer for a full-time role based in Great Falls, MT. Responsible for civil design calculations and analyses, drafting with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, preparing plans, specs, and cost estimates, and conducting construction inspection and administration across projects such as water distribution, sewer, stormwater, roads/highways, and development for clients including federal facilities (e.g., U.S. Air Force). Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, EIT certification (PE preferred), strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a team-oriented environment. Offices in Great Falls, MT with an emphasis on design, project management, and professional growth within a long-term employment framework.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
- EIT certification required; PE preferred
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
- Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience in civil design calculations and technical analyses
- Ability to prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Construction inspection & administration experience
- Experience modeling infrastructure systems (water, sewer, stormwater)
- Technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of water distribution, sewer, stormwater, roads/highways, water/wastewater treatment, and development projects
- Experience with federal government facilities is a plus
- Montana living/working experience is a plus
