Job Summary
Civil Engineer with 2-5 years of aviation-infrastructure experience. Responsibilities include contributing to design elements, preparing project documentation, collaborating with clients and team members, assisting with project scopes, budgets, and schedules, and providing engineering oversight during construction. Required: Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering; 2-7 years of experience; proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office; stormwater modeling software (ICP desired); licensure options including SC PE or EIT with plan to licensure within 36 months. Must work on-site in Columbia, SC, and demonstrate strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects, proposals, and client interactions on municipal, aviation, and DoD infrastructure projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 2-7 years of field experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Stormwater Modeling Software proficiency (ICP, desired)
- Ability to work on multiple projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage deadlines
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- South Carolina Professional Engineer licensure or Engineer in Training (EIT) status with ability to obtain licensure within 36 months
- Role involves working on municipal, aviation, and DoD infrastructure projects; strong communication and organizational skills; involvement in proposals, client interactions, and reports
