Job Summary
Civil Engineer to assist with design tasks and data analysis in infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include preparing drawings in AutoCAD and basic design calculations under supervision, performing quality control checks on design drawings, compiling and refining geographic data from diverse sources (including digital aerial photography and existing maps), and working within a multidiscipline team during planning and documentation phases. Requires ability to work with Civil 3D (3D modeling, plan and profile), and strong communication in English. Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of experience are required. The role emphasizes supporting a hybrid work arrangement with AECOM's flexible work philosophy.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering - CFD P or Hydro
- Ability to work in Civil 3D (3D modeling, plan and profile)
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established procedures
- Gathers and correlates data from multiple sources
- Gathers geographic data from sources including digital aerial photography and maps
- Assists with design tasks, including preparing drawings in AutoCAD and performing basic design calculations under supervision
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Good oral and written communication in English
