Job Summary
Coffman Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join a collaborative and high-performing team. The role involves gaining site development experience for various projects, developing business relationships, and working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include creating conceptual and construction plans, collaborating with engineers and architects, visiting construction sites, and providing technical assistance during design and construction. Candidates should have strong design skills, experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D, effective communication, and time management abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar ABET-accredited program
- Civil Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) required or pending
- One to three years’ experience
- Experience and/or interest in general site engineering
- Design skills for preparing site plans and associated improvements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D drafting system
- Effective technical writing and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
