Civil EIT and PE Water / Wastewater

Job Summary
Generate design plans, specifications, and reports for municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, and transmission facilities. Assist in project schedule/budget management and oversee construction administration tasks such as submittals, contracts, and bidding. Provide supervision of internal staff and external parties to ensure efficient project completion. Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with PE or EIT certification required; 1 year experience for EIT, 5 years for PE. Relevant software includes Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling programs. Located in Austin, TX, with relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum BS in Civil Engineering
- PE certification or EIT required for the respective roles
- Minimum 1 year of experience in municipal water/wastewater design for EIT role
- 5 years for the PE role
- Experience in design and generation of construction plans, submittals, pay applications, contracts, etc.
- Experience in design/calculations of water/wastewater plant infrastructure and/or the collection and distribution systems for them
- Must be highly organized
- Detail-oriented
- Good communicator
- Ability to multi-task and change priorities quickly
Desired Qualifications
- MS degree
- Experience in drainage design
- Previous work in project management/construction administration
- Relevant software experience in programs such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, WaterCAD, ArcGIS, or other hydraulic modeling programs
- Experience in design/calculations for drainage
- Work with municipalities
- Project management experience
- Previous work with Municipal Utility Districts in TX
