Job Summary
Contact city staff and agencies for project coordination and data collection. Support basic design and calculations for site grading, drainage analysis, and utility improvements. Assist in developing construction plans, specifications, and Opinions of Probable Costs. Collaborate with team members on design specifications and timelines, while performing field observation work under minimal supervision. Develop relationships with clients, municipal authorities, vendors, and contractors. This full-time, exempt position requires an EIT with a civil engineering degree and 0-2 years of site development experience. Parkhill is a leading architectural and engineering firm in the Southwest with 15 offices across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- EIT obtained
- At least 0-2 years of experience in site development
- Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with non-Engineer decision makers
- Must be able to communicate plans
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with software including AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS
