Job Summary
Civil & Earthworks Junior Designer in Reno, NV for WSP USA's US Mine Waste Civil Design and Drafting Team. Provides technical design and CADD support using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop drawings/packages (plans, profiles, sections, details) for mine infrastructure, stormwater controls, landfill design, reclamation, groundwater, and related civil and geotechnical projects. Performs data collection, analysis, and collaboration with team members and project engineers to ensure design accuracy, QA/QC adherence, and alignment with project objectives. Travel to project locations may be required; role emphasizes autonomous work and teamwork within a structured design environment. Requires an Associates degree in CADD/Engineering technology or equivalent and proficiency with AutoCAD 2024+ and Civil 3D 2024+. Strong communication, time management, and adherence to safety and company standards are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree from accredited Technical School or College in CADD/Engineering technology, or equivalent required
