Job Summary
Produce civil drawing sets for data center site development, including grading, drainage, erosion control, and utilities, from engineer redlines to issued-for-construction status. Turn drawing revisions around inside a day during permitting and construction when submittal dates or open RFIs are waiting. Build and maintain civil CAD standards to ensure consistency across all site projects. Coordinate civil sheets against structural and architectural models to catch clashes before they impact the field. Prepare permit exhibits, plats, and agency-requested revisions to keep submittals moving without pulling engineers off design work.
Required Qualifications
- You've drafted civil construction documents in Civil 3D or AutoCAD that were issued for construction and built from.
- You've built surfaces, grading, corridors, and pipe networks in Civil 3D yourself, from survey data to finished sheets.
- You've turned engineer redlines into finished sheets on same-day deadlines and kept the set consistent while doing it.
- You keep drawing sets internally airtight: callouts resolve, matchlines align, and every referenced detail exists.
- You've worked deadlines where a missed submittal slips a permit, and the sheet was ready.
- You've set up or maintained CAD standards that other drafters followed.
Desired Qualifications
- Bonus: Data center, industrial, or utility-scale solar site work.
- Revit or Navisworks coordination.
- Survey data processing.
