Job Summary
Civil Designer with around 4+ years of experience, focused on port and coastal projects. Contributes to technically challenging civil design for coastal protection structures, port infrastructure and marine precinct developments. Demonstrates proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (Revit a plus), coordinates multidisciplinary drawings/models, prepares high-quality engineering drawings to standards, and supports engineers within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Seeks to grow technical capability and maritime-sector knowledge within Beca’s Maritime team in Auckland.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering/Design
- Around 4+ years’ experience aligned to mid-career level
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; Revit exposure advantageous
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary drawings/models across disciplines
- Experience working in Common Data Environments (CDEs) and producing high-quality drawings
- Ability to prioritise work and guide junior designers/drafters
- Proactive, curious mindset and collaboration with engineers and teams
